The PULSE Elite is the latest gaming headset from PlayStation, offering immersive audio gameplay – with up to 30 hours of battery life. PlayStation has engineered their latest wireless headset with "next-generation" gaming audio at the forefront.
The most common gaming headset on the market uses a dynamic driver, utilizing portability, lighter weight, warm sound signature, and compatibility with tube amplifiers. Differentiating the PULSE Elite from other headsets, Playstation uses magnetic drivers often used in professional recording studios.
Planar Magnetic headphones offer more precise sound reproduction, best used in a professional recording studio due to their larger magnet arrays and driver design. PlayStation says, in combination with the PULSE Elite 3D audio configuration – with sound design to come from all directions, the audio is nearly identical to what the developers planned.
For gamers who participate in online and multiplayer gameplay, the PULSE Elite now offers AI-powered noise cancellation to better hear what others are saying over the mics during multiplayer sessions, an integrated mic that can be retracted into the headset when not in use.
Included with your PULSE Elite Headset is a quick charging hanger, the hanger provides quick charging with 2 hours of battery life from a 10-minute charge – not to mention a sleek way to display your headset. In addition to Bluetooth compatibility and dual connectivity, gamers can connect to a console and a secondary device to answer phone calls or hear other notifications while playing.
