A pristine 86' Land Rover Defender 90, built for the Euro market and is finished in Willow Green Metallic, is up for auction on Bring A Trailer. The original owner purchased this example in January of 1986 — under the current ownership, this Defender 90 has been fully restored and modified by Arkonik, an independently owned company, fully licensed to manufacture replica Land Rover Defender. The company is based in Somerset, UK— mainly catering to American and Canadian clients. Back in 2023, the Defender 90 was imported to the U.S. with a clean title, Land Rover Certificate, and build invoice.

Under the current ownership, the Defender 90 rides on 16" Five-spokes wheels and has been recently fitted with 265/75 BFGoodrich all-terrain tires, front skid plate, wheel arch extensions, mud flaps, a more robust side steps, and a rear-step bumper for easy access to the folding four inward-facing jump seats — in addition, Arkonik has replaced all suspension components as part of the restoration. It is also worth mentioning that there are imperfections in the exterior finish which was noted by the seller.
Inside, the cabin features a pair of heated front seats in Tan leather with black carpeting. The leather interior extends to the locking center console and the four inward-facing jump seats, equipped with lap belts. The SUV received both period correct and modern updates, most notably the black leather Lode Lane steering wheel with white stitching and a Pioneer touchscreen stereo linked with dash-mounted Pioneer speakers.
