The latest MINI Cooper S, now available in the John Cooper Works (JCW) trim, is designed to seamlessly blend sporty aesthetics with the brand’s rich racing heritage. This particular three-door model showcases distinctive front and rear designs that emphasize its nimble handling and high-performance capabilities.
Beneath the hood, the MINI Cooper S is equipped with a potent 2.0L TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine, which delivers an impressive 204 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque. This robust power enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.6 seconds. The JCW trim further elevates the Cooper S with unique design elements, such as distinct diffusers, a high-gloss black octagonal front grille, and contrasting black roof and mirror caps. Additionally, the vehicle boasts JCW brake calipers and exclusive 17-inch or 18-inch rim designs, further underscoring its commanding presence.
Inside, the Cooper S JCW trim maintains its motorsport-inspired theme with black synthetic leather sports seats, multicolor shoulder accents, and red seams. The dashboard features a striking black and red checkered flag pattern, complemented by a high-resolution OLED display that centralizes navigation, media, and climate controls. The MINI Experience Modes, including the GO-KART mode, allow for customizable interior ambiance.
Emphasizing safety and convenience, advanced driver assistance systems like automatic speed and distance control, 3D navigation visualization, and Parking Assistant Professional take center stage. The Safe Exit function enhances security by monitoring the surroundings and providing warnings of approaching traffic when exiting the vehicle.
As of this writing, specific details regarding price and availability for the MINI Cooper S JCW trim have not been disclosed.
