On Tuesday, December 5th, 2023, The New York State Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) issued a recall for cannabis gummies sold at licensed dispensaries throughout New York City. Jenny's Zee Zee gummies, a full spectrum hash resin 2:1 THC/CBN for sleep/relaxation made by Jenny's Baked at Home Company, LLC, did not go through the required testing for consumer safety and product quality, according to the OCM.
Distributors and dispensaries have been instructed to cease distribution and sales of the affected products. Although the OCM has not received any reports of adverse effects caused by the gummies — the agency has issued the recall as a precautionary measure. Here are some steps to take if you have purchased affected gummies.
