“Minnesota just became the 23rd state in the nation to legalize adult-use cannabis”

– Governor Tim Walz

Congratulations to Minnesota for becoming the 23rd state in the United States to legalize adult-use cannabis! On May 30th, Governor Tim Walz signed into law HF-100, a bill creating a framework for legal cannabis in the state. The legalization of cannabis has long been a topic of debate and discussion, with supporters citing the plant's potential medical benefits and the economic benefits of a regulated cannabis market. With the signing of HF-100, Minnesota has taken a major step forward in joining the growing number of states that have recognized the value of legal cannabis.

Under the new law, HF-100 Allows for :

  • Possession limits have been set at 2 ounces in public and 2 pounds at home.

  • Adults 21 and older will be allowed to grow up to four mature cannabis plants in their homes.

  • The bill also allows for gifting, promising a unique opportunity for one cannabis enthusiast to share their love of the plant with another.

  • Additionally, the new law includes provisions for medical providers to sell cannabis products to adults aged 21 and over by 2025.
