LEGO Technic Unveils Mercedes G-Class 1:8 Scale Model Set

After releasing a customizable McLaren P1 earlier this week, LEGO Technic presents a new addition to its Ultimate Car Concept Series, which focuses on recreating the world's top sports cars as 1:8 collectibles. In honor of the vehicle's 45th anniversary, LEGO has replicated the Mercedes-Benz G 500 PROFESSIONAL Line model car using 2,891 pieces.

The model measures 8.5 inches in height, 16.5 inches in length, and eight inches in width. It comes with a six-cylinder in-line piston engine under the hood and a gearbox featuring drive, neutral, and reverse settings.

This toy car also includes a functioning steering wheel, two different locks, an opening tailgate and hood, and a meticulously detailed interior that mirrors the luxurious finishes of the real-life version. Additionally, classic accessories such as a ladder, spare wheel, and roof rack are also part of the set.

The Mercedes-Benz G 500 is the newest addition to LEGO's expanding Ultimate Car Concept Series, which already includes a buildable Ferrari Daytona SP3, Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht, Porsche 911 RSR, and more.

LEGO Technic's Mercedes-Benz G 500 PROFESSIONAL Line model is currently available for pre-order on the brand’s webstore for $249.99 USD, shipping will begin on August 1.
