Reigning Champ, most known for their athleisure wear, is also known for their memorable collaborations and this time is no different… Prince, Nonnative, and Junya Watanabe are just a few of the illustrious brands that Reigning Champ has collaborated with since its inception in 2007.
Even with Reigning Champs' noteworthy roster of collaborations, one of the most standout things about the brand is its loyalty to the brands it has collaborated with in the past. Reigning Champs repeated collaborations with the brands it chooses to collaborate with attests to the emphasis Reigning Champ places towards building loyalty with its collaborators and the phrase, “don’t fix what isn’t broken”. With that being said, Reigning Champ has once again tapped the shoulder of one of the brands it’s most known to collaborate with; American sportswear label, Golden Bear.
With this year’s collaboration, Reigning Champ and Golden Bear have lived up to the phrase “If it’s not broken don’t fix it” by offering timeless, quality everyday wear pieces. This year’s collaboration reinterprets the two most well-known pieces within the Golden Bear’s outerwear pieces: the Albany and Lobos. The Rugby Rose Albany Jacket comes in a timeless varsity jacket style with a chenille-stiched rose flower in honor of the United Kingdom’s rugby roots. The Albany jacket also comes in a black melton wool material with naked cowhide sleeves.
As for the Lobos Varsity Jacket, comes in a heavy melton fabric with custom jacquard ribbing. The jacket comes in shades of navy and black and features Reigning Champ’s chain-stiched script logo on the pocket of the jacket.
