Establish a System

There should always be a system in place when purchasing clothing. Not only will you save money in the long term, but having a system also helps you hone in on a specific style you desire. Hunting is a human practice of seeking, pursuing, capturing, or killing wildlife or feral animals. When a group of hunters goes out into any environment to hunt, they always have a specific species of animal to hunt. Whether it is a deer, bear, or lion, hunters know what they want to hunt, capture, and take back home. When purchasing clothing, we also need to adopt this mindset.

What Type of Game Do You Want To Hunt and Why?

A good hunter does not hunt for everything and anything that moves in the environment he chooses to hunt in. In this case, a good hunter decides on the type of game he wants to hunt and only hunts that type of game. When it comes to revamping your image/wardrobe, the same concept applies. To do this successfully, you have to “master” one or two looks you would like to hunt. When hunting for your selected style options, always question yourself about the intent to purchase.

The Right Questions to Ask Yourself

Before you intend to purchase an item for the look your hunting, ask yourself the following questions – Why should I buy the item? Is this item a part of your selected style? Is it meant to enhance an established outfit you own? Do you want to use it as a statement piece for an outfit you have in mind? Are you using the item to further your brand and help communicate a message to your audience on social media? At the bare minimum, if you answered NO to these questions, the item may be best left on the virtual hanger of the website.

Where Should You Go Shopping For These Items?

Any hunter worth their salt will know where the best areas are to hunt for the type of game they are looking for. They will know the best season to hunt their game. The types of traps to set, and bait needed to lure their prey to the area which is better suited for the hunter.

The same goes for fashion as well. Sure, you can search for the specific pieces of clothing you want to buy via Google or you can save the specific websites that always offer the best deals/sales on the items you specifically want. If you apply a hunter's mindset you can decide if the piece of clothing is truly worth the purchase. Will it embody the visual image you want for yourself, or if this is just something that you like and can appreciate without needing to purchase it.
