The multitalented singer has given us another peek into her artistry. “In Service To Whom,” according to the exhibition notes, was inspired by the idea of “rest” and “speaks to the artist’s reemergence into the world of everyday life following periods of personal incubation and self-revitalization at home.”

Though she’s notoriously quiet about much of her personal life, Solange is no stranger to tapping in and showcasing her creativity while stepping foot into multiple outlets - creating art with intention. Most recently partnering with Jason McDonald to curate a collection of glassware under her creative agency, Saint Heron, and composing a score for the New York City Ballet in 2022.

“In Service To Whom” is a four-act show, performed at the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney NSW, Australia. The singer was joined by a 10 piece orchestra and performed new work and a few selections from her discography. Photos from the performance as well as full credits are viewable at Saint Heron.
